The elevated metro line is 15.31 kilometres long and is being developed by the Mumbai metropolitan region development authority authority (MMRDA). It will cut jvlr travel time by 30–45 minutes. The line will use 108 metro cars, forming 6-coach training. CBTC Signalling will allow training to run more efficiently. Trains will run from 6 am to 10 PM.
