Beyond developing the new modular nu-q platform That’s capable of Housing a variety of POWETRAIN Options and Offering Multiple Body Styles for Upcoming SUVs, Mahindra is looking to further future-profte by developing flex-fuel engines. These engines will be capable of running on e30-rated fuel and higher.

As the Indian Government Exploes options to Increase the ethanol blend in petrol to 30 percent (E30) By 2030, Mahindra is ready it seslf to offer engines that would be compatible with the fuel. To run on e30 and higher-rated fuels (up to 100 percent ethnol-spoiled), the engines would require further reenginening; Ethanol content sensors for real-time monitoring of Ethanol Concentration, Along with Fuel Rail and Injector Heaters for Cold Starts, Are Among the upgrades required.
