It has been 20 years since ‘No Entry’ was released. The film released in theaters in 2005 entertained the audience a lot. The film achieved great success at the box office. Many artists including Salman Khan, Anil Kapoor, Fardeen Khan, Bipasha Basu, Lara Dutta, Isha Deol, Celina Jaitley and Boman Irani were in important roles.
On the occasion of the completion of 20 years of ‘No Entry’, the film’s actress Lara Dutta has written a special post. In this, he has revealed that he was very afraid of Salman Khan on the set. Also, he was first selected for the role of Bipasha in the film.
‘I got the role that Bipasha later played’
Lara Dutta shared a photo of ‘No Entry’ and wrote on Instagram- “No Entry” completed 20 years. How fast time passes. This film will always be one of my favorite films. My first step in comedy, I got the role that Bipasha later played. I remember that I told Anees Bazmee that Kajal’s character is one of my most different characters ever. I have to give myself a tough challenge to play the role of a very skeptical, badbi, Punjabi wife. Surprisingly, I fully adopted that character and I enjoyed it very much.
Lara was afraid of Salman Khan
Lara Dutta wrote about Salman Khan- ‘I had not yet partner with Salman Khan, so his being on the set was a little scared … It seemed as if the superstar had come! But he was very calm, fun and attractive. Fardeen Khan was a new dimension in the case of comedy and it was amazing to see how comfortable it was for him.
Lara further wrote about the co-actresses- ‘Celina Jaitley, Isha Deol and me formed a relationship that went beyond the Kaligs and became a very special, rare friendship in the film industry. Bipasha Basu was very beautiful and she had a great mail of sex appeal and comic timing.
The actress reached the set of ‘No Entry’ as soon as ‘Khaki’ was completed
Lara further states- ‘I remember that I finished the shooting of’ Aisa Magic Dala Re ‘(Khaki) and left the studio directly to the airport to catch a flight to South Africa for her first schedule and got down and reached the set for my first shot! It was here that I was arguing with my maid and asking her why her choli is so ventilated.
This is said for director Anees Bazmi
The actress finally wrote- ‘I was very excited to work with Anees Bazmee. Working with him was really a dream and enjoying experience. I am very happy that I got a chance to work under his career. South Africa, Mauritius, Thailand, Mumbai … ‘No Entry’ was full of madness, amazing co-stars and amazing producer Boney Kapoor and is still one of the most prestigious comedy films of our time. ‘
‘No Entry 2’ Anees Bazmee
Please tell that a few days ago, Anees Bazmee had told that the sequel to ‘No Entry’ is being made. When Anees Bazmee was asked how long the film would be released in theaters, then he said- ‘It will take time because it will take me about 2 to 3 months to write the story of the film. Only then will we be able to start the film.
