While sharing his memoirs, the CM of Chhattisgarh said, “It was a privilege that when Atal ji became the Prime Minister of the country for the third time, I was elected as an MP. I have heard Atal ji’s lectures in Parliament. We used to wait for his address in the Lok Sabha. His fanfare, impunity and the art of speaking of his words, fascinated everyone. ”
He further said, “When the bill of Chhattisgarh state construction was presented in Parliament, I also got an opportunity to hear that discussion as a listener. At that time, Rajya Sabha MP from our state, late Lakhi Ram Aggarwal and late Dilip Singh Judeo also spoke in Parliament. Atal ji taught us that the principles should always be firm. He used to give importance to the politics of principles and values. ”
