‘To accelerate development works in Delhi, not tolerate negligence’ strict order of CM Rekha Gupta

Chief Minister Rekha Gupta has given strict instructions to the officials while reviewing the ongoing development works in the capital Delhi. He said that the government does not have a lack of budget, but laxity will not be tolerated in work. The Chief Minister said in clear terms that development work should be seen not only on paper but on the ground.

Presiding over the high -level meeting held at the Delhi Secretariat on Monday, the Chief Minister ordered the officials to speed up the speed of all the works related to the Chief Minister Development Fund (CMDF) and MLA Fund (MLALAD). Apart from this, development works should also be given priority in unauthorized colonies and scheduled castes and tribes. Senior officials of Urban Development, Plan, Finance, Irrigation and Flood Control Department were present in the meeting along with Chief Secretary, Commissioner of Municipal Corporation of Municipal Corporation of Municipal Corporation.

Chief Minister Gave Instruction

The Chief Minister said that often the proposals sent from the MLA fund get stuck in the rules, which waste time. He instructed that if any proposal is not in line with the rules, then its information should be given to the MLA immediately so that the problem can be solved immediately. Also, the status report of all the works should be sent regularly to the Chief Minister and the concerned MLA.

He also said that the monsoon season is going to end now, so the speed of development works should be intensified. The Chief Minister warned the officials that the responsibility will be fixed if found at any level.
