There will be recruitment to bumper posts in Bihar’s health department, applications will start from this day, it will be able to do it

Another big opportunity has come for the youth preparing for government jobs in Bihar. The State Health Committee, Bihar (SHS) has released the official notification of recruitment to the posts of 1075 lab technicians and senior lab technicians. The application process will start from 1 September 2025 and candidates will be able to apply online by 15 September 2025. For the application, candidates have to go to SHS.Bihar.gov.in.

Golden opportunity for youth

The purpose of this recruitment campaign is to improve the health services of all the districts of Bihar. Appointments will be made to these posts in various programs running under the National Health Mission (NHM). The maximum 690 posts have been left for the Health and Wellness Center (HWC). Apart from this, 207 posts will be filled in NTEP program. At the same time, there are 90 posts in RTPCR Lab (IDSP), 31 in blood bank and 35 in NUHM. Apart from this, posts are also included in other national health programs.

Qualification and educational eligibility

To apply to the post of lab technician, the candidate must have passed 12th grade science (Physics, Chemistry and Biology) subjects. Along with this, it is necessary to have BMLT or DMLT diploma. For the post of Senior Lab Technician, the candidate should have a degree of MSc (Medical Microbiology/Biotechnology/Biochemistry/General Microbiology/Applied Microbiology). Apart from this, there should also be a two -year experience of TB lab testing.

Age limit and pay scale

The minimum age for recruitment has been fixed at 21 years and maximum 37 years. Reserved classes will get exemption according to the rules in age. Talking about salary, lab technician will get Rs 24,000 per month and Senior Lab Technician will get Rs 15,000 per month.

Selection process

Candidates will be selected on the basis of written examination and experience. The date and detailed information of the examination will be released soon by the Health Department.

Application fee

The general class, backward class, extremely backward class, economically weaker class and candidates outside Bihar will have to pay an application fee of Rs 500. At the same time, SC, ST, Divyang and women candidates of the state will have to pay a fee of only Rs 125.

Candidates have to visit the official website of SHS to apply. There will be a link to recruitment in the advertisement section. After clicking on the link, new registration has to be done and then login and filling the form. After filling the required details, passport size photos and signature will have to be uploaded. Finally, after submitting the application fee, take out the print of the form and keep it safe.
