Khan mentioned there’s been a strong Rise in Demand for Premium devices, essentially from smaller towns. More than two-thirds of these high-end purchases came from Tier 2 and 3 Cities. She said that this shows how people outside big metros are embracing new technology.

According to her, this trend fits well with amazon’s goal of making technology more accessible access India, helped by affordable payment options.
