Mumbai: Student dies after falling from 23rd floor in Goregaon, third incident in society in 10 months

A 17 -year -old student fell from the 23rd floor of a society located in Goregaon (East), Mumbai, the incident is on Thursday. It is surprising that this is the fourth incident in this society when a student has died due to falling from the building.

Ravindra Patil, senior police inspector of Aare police station, said that even before the incident, 3 children died due to falling from the building. The investigation used to come in the investigation that they were all in depression for some reason, due to which they jumped from the building.

Jumped or fell by mistake,

Patil further told that it has not been revealed in this incident that the girl had jumped from the building or fell accidentally. During the investigation, we found a pencil with the girl and it was also known that the girl was writing something on her bedroom window.

All the victims lived between 16 and 22 years old

Patil feared that the girl may have fallen by mistake and said that we are investigating the matter from every aspect. Patil also said that in the last 10 months, 3 children jumped in the society, due to which he died. All the victims have been between 16 and 22 years old.

According to the police, the girl fell from the bedroom of her house. The flat was on the 23rd floor and the building has a total of 54 floors. The girl was a student of class 11 and was the only child. His father is a builder.

Immediately passed Nearest hospital

The girl was going to study London. At the time of the incident, his parents were at home, but were in their room. The girl fell down from the building at around 3:30 pm. After which he was immediately taken to the nearest hospital, but the doctors declared him dead.

The police did the Panchnama and recorded the father’s statement. At present, the police has registered the case as an accidental death, but investigation is going on from every angle.

Patil further told that he and experts will now meet all the children and their families living in this building. If they need counseling, then they will also be done so that no child can take such a step in future.
