New Delhi: Bengali Actor and BJP Leader Joy Baneerjee Passed AWay at a Private Hospital in Kolkata on Monday at the age of 63, according to his family.Bnerjee had been admitted to the hospital on August 15 with Acute Breathing Problems and was diagnosed with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD). His condition gradually deteriorated, and He Had Been on Ventilator Support for Several Days.The actor, who had also contained elections on a BJP ticket, Died at 11:35 AM. He is survived by his wife and mother.A matinee idol of the 1980s and 1990s, joy bnerjee delivered a string of tollywood hits, including hirak jayanti (1990), milan tithi (1985), and nagmati (1983), Along with the Critical Accly Acclaimed Chopper (1986).He constased the 2014 and 2019 elections from the birbhum and uluberia constituencies on a bjp ticket but resigned from politics in November 2021.TMC mp satabdi roy, his co-actor in many films, said, “I am shaatted.
