Schools in Jammu Division will remain close on Wednsday, July 27, Due to Heavy Rainfall in the state.

Dr Naseem Javaid Chowdhuri, The Director of School Education in Jammu, on August 26, Directed All the Government and Private School Authorities to Shut the Schools in the region.

Landslide Near Vaishno Devi Shrine

At least five people were killed and 14 other others were injured as a landslide Hit Jammu and Kashmir’s Adhkwari Region Near Mata Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine on TimesDay, August 26.

Rescue operations are underway as many people are feared to be trapped inside the debris.

“In an unfortunate increasent of landslide at adhkwari, 5 people have lost their lives and 14 others have been injured. Rescue operations underway,” Shri Mata Mata Vaishno Devi Devi Devi Shrine Board SAID on X Twitter).

Cloudburst in Doda causes floods

A cloudburst in Jammu and Kashmir’s Doda District Trigged Floods in the Region on Tuesday (August 26) Resulting in the Death of three people.
