In view of the problems faced by urea in Uttar Pradesh, Agriculture Minister Surya Pratap Shahi raided fertilizer and seed shops in Kushinagar. After which there was chaos in the surrounding shops. Many shopkeepers ran away by dropping the shutters of their shops. Meanwhile, the minister investigated the stock and billing of many shops in depth.

Agriculture Minister Surya Pratap Shahi had arrived in Khadda in Kushinagar to attend a private program, he also raided the fertilizer shops here. He suddenly went to the fertilizer and seed shop in Nebua Raiganj market here. After which he closely inspected the shops, investigated the stock register, billing system and government standards intensively.

Raid on fertilizer and seed shop

As the news of the sudden visit of the Agriculture Minister spread, there was a stir in the market. The shopkeepers were seen taking information from each other and tried to fix their papers. During the inspection, stock registers of many shopkeepers were found incomplete. On which he expressed strict displeasure and said that those who cheat farmers will not be spared.

The Minister directed the local administrative and agriculture department officials to regularly check the fertilizer seed shops operated in the market and warned the shopkeepers that strict action will be taken if there is a complaint of not following the standards at a shop in future. Providing quality fertilizers and seeds to farmers is the priority of the government and negligence will not be tolerated in it.

Minister gave strict instructions for action

During the inspection, the Agriculture Minister showed displeasure even after not displaying the price list of fertilizer and seeds outside some shops and directed to instantly put the price list. He said that farmers are the backbone of the country and the government will not show any generosity on those who cheat them. Strict action is sure to be taken against such shopkeepers.

This surprise inspection of the Agriculture Minister stirred the shopkeepers, while the farmers welcomed this strictness of the government. The farmers said that if regular checkup continues in this way, then they will be able to get quality fertilizer and seeds on time. During this time, the minister also sealed it after getting heavy irregularities in a shop.
