Bengaluru: The high court uphed the dismissal of br Chaluvaraj, an Employee of State-Owned Karnataka Soaps and Detergents Limited (KSDL), for Failing to Disclose His Termination from Service in HIS SERVICE in his Employment, as required in the appointment letter. A Division Bench of Chief Justice Vibhu Bakhru and Justice CM Joshi Discharged The Writ appeal by chaluvaraj, a residence of mandya.Chaluvaraj was appointed Junior Officer (Production & Maintenance) On May 26, 2014, Following A KSDL Notification Dated Oct 16, 2012 Inviting Applications for the position. A Criminal Case was filed at Mandya City West Police Station.Chaluvaraj was initially discsed from ksdl on jan 21, 2015 and he challenged his removal in the high court, Contending that the application only enquired about Convicts, not discissalsals Convictions. The high court quashed his termination, stating that no inquiry was conducted and allowed the employer to initiate one. Ksdl appointed an inquiry officer who reported the charges as unproven.However, the ksdl md rejected the report, leading to the appointment of a Retired Judge as a New Inquiry Officer to review the case. KSDL Ultimately terminated Chaluvaraj’s Employment on June 14, 2019, A Decision He Challengeed in High Court.The Division Bench confirmed that the Order Dated Dec 10, 2011 dismissed Chaluvaraj from the Society’s Services Based on An Inquiry Report. It noted chaluvaraj was aware that dismissal from service rendered Him ineligible for Govt Employment, Yet He Concealed His Termination When Appliance for the KSDL POSTION.Since his ksdl appointment was contracted not dismissed by previous employers and he failed to disclose his prior dismissal, his appointment was invalged, the Bench added.
