There was a flood in the Ganges in the Ghazipur district recently and due to the rising water level in the Ganges, many small rivers also came on the rise and this small river also includes a Magai River which is called Kosi of Bihar for Karail area of ​​Mohammadabad tehsil. Because when its water goes to the farmers’ fields, the farmer is completely ruined.

The same situation was due to the rising water level in the Ganges, due to which many villages of Bhanwarkol area were filled with water and in the present time, there is water in their fields, some days, people were imprisoned in their homes and villages due to water, but now after the flood water has been reduced, the movement of people has started.

But the villagers here say that since the flood water has entered their village and till now no responsible administration has gone to the tehsildar SDM or any other village in their village to take care of the farmers and the villagers, even no ration material has been distributed for the people affected by the floods.

Paddy crop wasted with loans from banks

At the same time, the biggest problem of the farmers is that the farmers had planned the paddy crop in some way by taking loans from banks for the kharif crop, but due to the flooding of the Mangai river, their entire farming which is spread over 400 acres has been completely destroyed by drowning.

The damage to the crop is also being assessed by the district administration, but due to the absence of any officer in their village, IGRS was also put by the villagers on August 7, but no responsible revenue officer arrived in their village to assess the loss of crop. Regarding all these problems, the victim farmers reached the district officer’s darshan and handed over a letter related to their problems.

In this regard, Additional District Officer and Disaster Management in -charge Dinesh Kumar said that the work of assessing the damage caused by the flood is going on and will continue to continue, in such a situation, if the bus revenue officials have not reached in their village, then they will definitely reach there and their loss will be assessed.

Along with this, about the relief material, it said that there is a standard for distribution of relief materials. If it would not come under the standard of standard, the relief material will not be distributed in their village, they will investigate that if there is any negligence, action will also be taken against him.
