Cricketer Yash Dayal will get relief or not? Today the High Court will pronounce the decision

The petition of RCB star cricketer Yash Dayal will be heard in the Allahabad High Court on Thursday (August 21, 2025). He recently got interim relief from the Allahabad High Court on 15 July. The High Court had stayed any harassment proceedings on the FIR lodged against the petitioner Yash Dayal.

The court had said that the matter needs to be considered. At the same time, on behalf of the court, the victim, the state government and the SHO of Indirapuram were issued a notice and gave time to file the reply in three weeks.

FIR lodged in Indirapuram police station

An FIR was registered against petitioner Yash Dayal on 6 July at Indirapuram police station in Ghaziabad. The police had registered an FIR against him under Section 69 of BNS. Yash Dayal has filed a petition in the High Court to cancel the FIR lodged against him. Now the division bench of Justice Siddharth Verma and Justice Abdul Shahid will hear the case.

What is the whole matter?

A 17 -year -old minor had registered a case of rape under the Poxo Act against cricketer Yash Dayal at Sanganer police station in Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan. The minor accused the cricketer that Yash Dayal physically exploited him for 2 years by pretending to help him in cricket career. According to the report, the police have registered this case under the Poxo Act.

Case filed against cricketer in UP too

A woman had filed a case against Yash Dayal in Uttar Pradesh. In the report lodged on 8 July, the woman alleged that Yash Dayal had a physical relationship with her for 5 years by pretending to be married. In this case, the court has given interim relief on the arrest of Yash Dayal. At the same time, the cricketer presented this argument in the court through his lawyer, in which it is a conspiracy and this is an attempt to blackmail players, celebrities.
