A great news has come to light for the youth preparing for the job. West Bengal Municipal Service Commission (WBMSC) has issued a new recruitment notification. Under this recruitment, qualified candidates will be selected for many important posts. The special thing is that the process of application will start from 21 August 2025 and will run till the scheduled date. Interested candidates can easily apply by visiting the official website.
Which posts have recruited
This time WBMSC has announced recruitment to many posts in different departments. These posts are both technical and non-technical. Candidates can apply according to their merit and interest. Through this recruitment, the youth will get a golden opportunity to work in subordinate bodies of the state government. A total of 675 posts will be filled under the campaign.
When and how the application process will be
The entire process of recruitment will be online. Candidates will have to go to the official website MSCWB.ORG from August 21 and fill the application form. By the last date of application, candidates will have to upload the necessary documents and pay the application fee. It is advisable not to wait for the last time and complete the application before the scheduled time.
Educational qualification
To apply for these posts, candidates must have a graduate or diploma in a subject related to recognized institute or university. Some posts will also require experience. Therefore, candidates are advised to read the official notification carefully and apply accordingly.
Age limit
The minimum age of candidates for WBMSC recruitment 2025 has been fixed at 18 years and maximum age 40 years. However, reserved category candidates will be given exemption in the maximum age limit as per government rules.
Selection process
Candidates will be selected on the basis of written examination and interview. The written examination will be conducted first, in which selected candidates will be called for interview. After this, the final merit list will be released.
Application fee
To apply in the recruitment process, candidates of general category and OBC class will have to pay an application fee of Rs 150. At the same time, SC, ST and Divyang candidates will get exemption. The fee can be paid from online medium such as debit cards, credit cards or net banking.
