Sudha Murthy created history by breaking this difficulty and became the first female student of her college. First female engineer in Telco

After completing his studies, Sudha Murthy started searching for a job. At that time, girls used to get less chance in technical jobs. But Sudha Murthy did not give up and got a job in India’s largest automobile company Telco (today’s Tata Motors). Not only this, she became the first female engineer of Telco. This success opened new doors for women and proved that no area can remain closed for girls if courage and hard work.

Important role played at the beginning of Infosys

Sudha Murthy was married to the country’s famous industrialist Narayan Murthy. When Narayan Murthy was dreaming of starting Infosys, he borrowed ten thousand rupees from his wife. Sudha Murthy not only helped financially but also supported her husband throughout the journey. Today Infosys is counted among the largest IT companies in the world.
