Citroen have opened pre-bookings for the upcoming Basalt X for a token Amount of Rs 11,000. While Exact Details Haven’t Been Reveled Yet, The Basalt X – Like the Recently launched C3 x – Is expected to get cosmetic and equipment upgrades. Citroen Basalt X: What to Expect?
Citroen has dropped a couple of teaser images, hinting at the upgrades on the basalt x. It is likely to get a new pattern imprint on the dashboard along with new bronze; The same is also likely on the ac vents. Additionally, one image also preview a new black and tan upholstery for the interior.
The c3 x has been positioned as the new range-Topping trim in the line-up, and the same can also be expected for the basalt. There could be new feature additions and color options, too. For instance, the C3 Gained Keyless Entry, Push-Button Start/Stop, An Optional 360-Degree Camera and A New Garnet Red Exterior Paint Shade with Its X Trim.

Mechanically, however, the basalt will remain unchanged. It will continue with its 1.2-lytre, three-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine that produces 110hp; Torque output is rated at 190nm with the manual gearbox and 205nm with the 6-speed torque converter automatic. Expect a Premium of Rs 10,000-RS 25,000 over the existing Top-Spec Trim.
